Dat kan door het geven van een (periodieke) donatie, het kopen van een stuk regenwoud, een nalatenschap voor Oasebos regelen of een actie op te zetten voor het werven van donaties of nieuwe eigenaren van een stuk regenwoud.

Daarom houden we de kosten zo laag mogelijk. Ons bestuur wordt niet betaald en we werken voornamelijk met vrijwilligers. Daarom hebben we ook de het CBF-keurmerk voor goede doelen.

Samen met 250 betrokken participanten en honderden donateurs, hebben we in de afgelopen jaren ruim 400 hectaren oerwoud kunnen aankopen en beschermen. Oasebos heeft tot nu toe 5 stukken regenwoud gekocht in Costa Rica: El Salto, Copalchi, Cano Curenita, El Cerrito en Aventure Ecologica.
Onze ambitie
Wij kopen het liefst gronden aan in grote aaneengesloten gebieden of aansluitend op reeds bestaande reservaatgebieden. Hierdoor kunnen soorten zoals de jaguar beschermd worden, die specifieke eisen stellen aan een groot leefgebied.
Om nog meer impact te hebben streeft Stichting Oasebos ernaar om het grondgebied jaarlijks aanzienlijk te vergroten en te laten toegroeien naar één aaneengesloten reservaat.
